Discover Houston in Three Days

Day 1:

  • Start your day with a visit to the Houston Space Center, which is home to NASA's mission control and space shuttle program. You can take a tram tour, see spaceships and artifacts, and even touch a moon rock.

  • After the Space Center, head to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, which has a vast collection of dinosaur fossils, gemstones, and wildlife exhibits.

  • In the evening, explore the vibrant and trendy Montrose neighborhood, which has great restaurants, bars, and boutiques.

Day 2:

  • Start your day by visiting the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, which has a collection of over 70,000 works of art from all around the world.

  • After the museum, head to the Houston Zoo, which is home to over 6,000 animals from around the world.

  • In the afternoon, visit the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, which has beautiful walking trails and a visitors center filled with educational exhibits.

  • In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of Houston's famous restaurants, such as Pappas Bros. Steakhouse or Hugo's.

Day 3:

  • Spend your last day in Houston by visiting the Buffalo Bayou Park, which has beautiful walking and biking trails, picnic areas, and a skate park.

  • Next, head to the Houston Museum District, which has 19 museums and galleries, including the Children's Museum of Houston and the Museum of Natural Science.

  • In the afternoon, visit the famous Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which is held annually in late February or early March.

  • End your day with a visit to the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park, which has a stunning 64-foot-tall water wall that makes for great photo opportunities.
